Description of Emeramide (NBMI,OSR):
1) Emeramide (NBMI,OSR) is a mercury chelator and other heavy metal chelator  and an antioxidant, and the molecule consists of two thiol groups and linked via a pair of amide groups.

2) Emeramide (NBMI,OSR) can be used to chelate heavy metals, especially  Mercury, Lead and Cadmium. It is used as prevention and Treatment of Mercury toxicity and other Heavy Metal toxicity including Lead toxicity and Cadmium toxicity with Emeramide (NBMI,OSR,BDTH2) in the EU and USA. So it is widely used as very effective treatment of Mercury Poisoning and other Heavy Metal Toxicity, especially Lead and Cadmium.

FAQ of Emeramide (NBMI,OSR)
1) What is Emeramide?
Emeramide (NBMI,OSR) is developed by Boyd Haley PhD.

2) What does Emeramide (also NBMI or OSR) do?
BDTH2 binds strongly to certain metals such as mercury and lead, both toxic to the human body. Initial experiments have shown it to be an excellent chelator to remove these and other metals from the body.

3) How does Emeramide (also NBMI or OSR) work?
One can think of BDTH2 as a very small trap for most heavy metals especially mercury. It’s structure consists of two natural substances. The molecule body is octagonal like a stop sign, as it is made from a dicarboxybenzoate. This can be found in foods such as cranberries. The body has two arms spaced far apart made from a common amino acid found in most proteins called cysteamine. Cysteamine is a two-carbon molecule that ends in a sulfur. Both the amine nitrogen and the carbons freely rotate allowing the molecule to change configuration with ease.
Interestingly BDTH2 does not deplete your normal minerals as most other chelators have been shown to do. It also does not engage in any essential physiological process or enzymatic actions as it does not alter any normal functions.
Because Emeramide is lipid (fat) soluble it can easily pass through the blood brain barrier, arteries and even through cell membranes. It goes everywhere and when it finds mercury it places one sulfur on each side to form a stable inert molecule as exists in the non-reactive mineral form stored in the environment.

4) How long is the usual chelating period of BDTH2 (also Emeramide) ?
It depends on what disease that you are treating and on how serious your condition is. For acute mercury poisoning, ie, recent exposure to a large amount, the mercury will mostly still be in the blood. For these people, one round has often been enough, while for others several treatments have been beneficial.
For chronic mercury poisoning such as amalgam fillings, vaccines or exposure at work, the mercury will mostly have left the blood and will be stored in organs throughout the body. In this case, it may take several years to eliminate it.

5) What’s the daily dosage of Emeramide (also NBMI or OSR) ?
Some people have had allergic reactions when first starting BDTH2. This is believed to be a response to residues from the solvents used to make it, as batches made with different solvents have not caused a reaction.
A useful precaution is to start with a dose of about 3-5mg/day for a week to see if any reactions develop. If there are none, try increasing the dose slowly up to the recommended dose of 300mg/day.
And product from fandachem has been tested for times that almost no residues solvents also high purity and cheap. There is the link: https://www.emeramide-nbmi.com/

6) Will Emeramide (also NBMI or OSR) chelate Mercury, Gadolinium, Uranium, Lead, Arsenic, Cadmium, Copper, and Iron?
We think the answer is yes to all of the above based on laboratory studies and basic chemical knowledge. In humans, BDTH2 has been tested on mercury. In animals, BDTH2 has been tested on iron and lead. In vitro, BDTH2 has been tested on cadmium and arsenic. The aim is to test the chelating capacity on all these metals in humans.

7) What else does Emeramide (also NBMI or OSR) attract?
BDTH2 has a tremendous anti oxidative capacity, binding free radicals intracellularly. Free radicals are the fundamental cause of oxidative stress and aging. BDTH2 enters cells and scavenges free radicals eliminating them harmlessly through the urine, and reducing oxidative stress very rapidly. This leads to a favorable increase in intracellular reduced Glutathione, the body’s most important antioxidant.

8) Does Emeramide (also NBMI or OSR) remove essential minerals?
BDTH2 has been found experimentally not to reduce normal essential minerals in the animal and human studies conducted to date. In some animal studies where they were fed more than 100 times the amount recommended zinc may have been somewhat lowered until the drug was stopped. Depletion of essential metals has not been seen in humans or animals taking the lower amounts needed to effectively treat heavy metal toxicity. The normal human dose is 3 to 4 mg/kg.

9) Does Emeramide (also NBMI or OSR) cause any side effects?
In three Phase 1 and 2a clinical trials, there have been no drug related adverse events. Between 2008 and 2010 2.5 million doses of the compound were sold through doctors and dentists offices with adverse event tracking. There were no drug related adverse events. US FDA demanded a halt of sales not due to side effects, which they have none reported, but due to considering the compound being a New Chemical Entity (NCE) needing to go through a drug development program before it could again be available, as a drug.

10) Will Emeramide (also NBMI or OSR) improve the health of those with iron conditions ?
Clinical trials in humans have not yet conducted, but several trials have been conducted in small rodents that are especially bred to suffer from genetically induced iron overload. In these test animals BDTH2 reduced the iron content towards normal levels in the liver and brain, normalized the oxidative stress level in the brain, and improved the abnormal behaviour of these animals induced by that oxidative stress.

11) Will my insurance cover Emeramide (also NBMI or OSR)?
No.

12) How to use Emeramide (also NBMI or OSR)?
BDTH2 is a fat-soluble powder. It is best absorbed when dissolved in oil. It can be taken orally mixed with a teaspoon of oil like olive or coconut oil, or even in peanut butter. Or it can be used transdermally by mixing with a light oil and rubbing it thoroughly into the skin.

13) Will Emeramide (also NBMI or OSR) stop my tremor caused by mercury exposure?
That depends on whether the damage is permanent. In the clinical study of the mercury intoxicated gold miners the majority recovered from tremors. Damage to the nervous system by mercury is a serious injury. Now that there is considerable experience with mercury intoxicated dentists and BDTH2, it can be said that some if not all the symptoms abate to a very large degree if caught early.

14) Can my pet get Emeramide (also NBMI or OSR)?
Yes. In the near future BDTH2 is hoped to be approved in the US for pets who are heavy metal toxic from their diets. It has been available for some time in the EU under a different program for wild animals and animal rescue. BDTH2 gavaged into heavily metal toxic and incapacitated eagles and eagle owls in Sweden recovered remarkably quickly and were later able to fly appearing to have totally regained their health.

15) Are there other conditions that Emeramide (also NBMI or OSR) may help?
One of the widespread uses for BDTH2 is for autistic young children. This application was when the compound was sold as an over-the-counter nutritional supplement known as “OSR 1.” Parents of these children claimed remarkable improvements. Currently there are a few European physicians who treat autistic children with several approaches, one of which is BDTH2. Other conditions are ALS, dementia, and MS. All success stories are anecdotal. Interestingly, there is an NDA investigating the use of BDTH2 with COPD – apparently it shows great promise.

These alternate uses may not be targeting mercury, but may be using the potent anti-oxidant capacity of Emeramide (also NBMI or OSR).
